OPEN STUDIO – 2 to 6 pm Tuesdays and Thursdays:
Open Studio is Sketch&rsquos drop-in program Ð it’s a time to do self-directed work, in many different media, at your own pace. If you come by with an idea, we can provide you with the supplies, materials,and support if you need it! Here’s what’s always available in OPEN STUDIO:
• Painting and Drawing
• Wood Shop
• Silk-screening & Printmaking
• Music – lessons, jamming, recording
• Sewing
• Photography
WORKSHOP WEDNESDAYS – 2 to 6 pm Wednesdays:
Workshop Wednesdays are a time for workshops and small-group instruction with artist facilitators. Unlike Open Studio, our drop-in program, this is when the space is quieter, so focused work can happen.
OTHER THINGS ABOUT SKETCH:
Sketch is a place where you can be very self-directed or involved in projects that offer more structure- we leave it up to you. The responsibilities that come with working here are obvious but important:
• wash your dishes
• clean your brushes
• put materials back in the right place
• ask for assistance if you don’t know how to use something.
A lot of people use this studio and we expect the same from everyone.
