Open to youth ages 16-29 of all skill levels who want to learn how to make a DIY notebook.
We encourage people to up-cycle materials from packaging and old artwork.

What you’ll need:
-Approx. 10-20 sheets of paper/recycled paper/old artwork
-Scissors
-Ruler
-Needle
-Embroidery thread or Dental Floss
-Hammer + 1 Nail (for making pilot holes)
-Protective pad/ old book/ magazine / thick newspaper for protecting table

Optional:
-Cardboard or cardstock (similar size as paper)
-Fabric + glue for fancy cover

Note: If you don’t have all the materials, we can improvise during the workshop.
A thinner notebook can be made if you do not have access to a hammer and nail; you can use a thumbtack, or a thicker sewing needle to create holes in a thinner notebook.
