DESCRIPTION:Join us for the 3rd part of the Sew Your Heart Out series.\nThis week we will be doing Threaded Bookbinding with Jess!\nThis Thursday May 7th from 4-5:30PM\n \n\nSign Up Link Here:  tinyurl.com/Y7GWR4AW\n\n\nOpen to youth ages 16-29 of all skill levels who want to learn how to make a DIY notebook.\nWe encourage people to up-cycle materials from packaging and old artwork. \nWhat you’ll need:\n-Approx. 10-20 sheets of paper/recycled paper/old artwork\n-Scissors\n-Ruler\n-Needle\n-Embroidery thread or Dental Floss\n-Hammer + 1 Nail (for making pilot holes)\n-Protective pad/ old book/ magazine / thick newspaper for protecting table \nOptional:\n-Cardboard or cardstock (similar size as paper)\n-Fabric + glue for fancy cover \nNote: If you don’t have all the materials\, we can improvise during the workshop.\nA thinner notebook can be made if you do not have access to a hammer and nail; you can use a thumbtack\, or a thicker sewing needle to create holes in a thinner notebook.
